Good Day Brooksby is our flagship live news show on campus. With over 500 episodes produced as of 2024, this 30 minute program highlights subjects such as upcoming events, Trip reports, resident birthdays, and new trivia questions each week. Every episode, two guests come on the show to discuss upcoming events and activities that are happening throughout the community.
Monthly Resident Town Hall meetings are brought to Brooksby Village residents live on TV once a month by the community's Senior Leadership/ Executive team. Each month, department updates are given to communicate, inform, and announce to residents of numerous topics. Subjects discussed during this meeting include ongoing community projects, new amenities & services, organizational updates, and a Q&A portion for residents to voice their questions or concerns.
RAC better known as the Resident Advisory Council, is an entirely resident elected group consisting of several liaison departments, giving you updates on what is happening in the community. These liaisons work directly with our Executive Team to help the community in any way they can.
Hall Monitors Residents Ralph Bonney & Bob Ciampa, otherwise known as the "Hall Monitors" frequently produce Public Service Announcements (PSA) to comically highlight reoccurring oddities that happen around campus, with some suggestions on what to do instead.
Piano Pals is a monthly program that invites residents to show off their musical skills! Everything from Piano, Keyboard, Chello, Clarinets, Singing and more! Whatever the residents want to play, they can showcase it here!
Menti Live Trivia is a once a month trivia show that involves residents watching and voting on their devices during the show! Every episode, a staff member and resident play on camera to see who can win and become the trivia winner of the month!
Sports Talk is the only show at Brooksby that specializes in talking about the world of sports! The biggest news stories and events are discussed with staff members and rotating residents who are passionate about sports and everything in it!
Tales of Brooksby Village is hosted by Klaus, a Brooksby resident who wants to share his interesting and uplifting stories that happened! Each episode is themed around a message that could apply to anyone who lives here. Relax and listen to the stories that can inspire and make you smile!
Four Legged Friends Do you love pets? If so, this is the show for you! Resident Eileen invites pets, and their owners to talk about their four legged friend. Variety of different dogs, and even cats are here to make your day a little better, and who knows, you might see one of these furry friends here at Brooksby!
Garden Club presents a wide range of topics regarding outdoor gardening, greenscapes, guest environmental speakers and more. Beautiful displays of gardens from the residents and guests who share their knowledge and understanding of nature and its beauties.
The Show After the Show What is even better than the show?...Well that would be The Show After the Show! Resident Life Director Matthew Connery invites you to come relax and focus on your well being. The Show After The Show looks at what positive experiences we can have on our minds, our bodies and our connections with others!
Climate Change Group Residents here at Brooksby Village are often looking for ways that they can be more energy efficent, what better way than to discuss those topics on their own show? Join residents as they go over way you can help your community and what big and small things you can do to go green!
More About Us Over 1800 resident's, with over 1800 unique stories! This is More About Us, a program that introduces the community to fellow residents, and a show that dives into new residents past. Come along and get to know your fellow neighbors!
Do You Remember When? Well...do you? Come along and enjoy this leisurely travel back in time to remember classic musicians throughout time. Everything from Elvis, Frank Sinatra, oldie Broadway Melodies, the Age of Swing, and so much more! This is a program edited fully by one of our volunteer residents Cliff Kent!
Eye Catchers 20/20 Is a show focusing on how seniors with low vision, can be supported through advancing technology and people in the industry. This show is a great program for anyone with low vision who might want to know what is out their for them!
His-Story, Her-Story is an interview program that highlights the careers and life experiences of Brooksby residents, most often beginning before they became part of this community. Host, BBTV's Cassie Sullivan, inquires about their life’s work and the journeys of their history to learn more about them.
